Two great new reviews for Darryl Cunningham's Science Tales have been featured online this week, on the Comics Alliance site: 'Cunningham never accuses people who are swayed by conspiracy theories or pseudoscience of being evil or stupid, and his tone is polite enough to win hearts and minds, provided they're open minds' and from Cory Doctorow at Boing Boing: 'A fantastic nonfiction comic book about science, skepticism and denial...Cunningham has a real gift for making complex subjects simple'.
Elizabeth Haynes' Revenge of the Tide has received three enthusiastic reviews, from crime fiction fan website Euro Crime: 'This, the second novel by Elizabeth Haynes, is as excellent as her first one....It is full of suspense and intrigue and keeps the reader hanging on its every word, as well as being very well written'; in Brighton's new, quarterly arts and lifestyle magazine Pretty Litter: 'Revenge of the Tide delivers everything I crave from a murder mystery; suspense, emotion, an element of humour, surprise, and, just when I thought I had the answers, Haynes adds another twist...' and on Beadyjans Bookshelf blog: 'Exciting writing - this author certainly has the knack of grabbing your attention and immersing you in the storyline...The book made fabulous reading - a real page turner and virtually unputdownable'.
